Emilia Hughes was born on May 12, 1985, in London, England. She was born into a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Emilia showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. She quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with her mother. As Emilia grew older, she began to show an interest in other instruments, particularly the violin.
