Jeong-Won Lee is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on December 12, 1981, in Seoul, South Korea, Lee showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue music as a career. Lee's musical journey began at the Yewon School, a prestigious music school in Seoul, where she studied under the guidance of Professor Young-Joo Lee. She later attended the Seoul Arts High School, where she continued to hone her skills as a pianist. In 2000, Lee was awarded the Grand Prize at the Korean Music Education Competition, which marked the beginning of her successful career as a musician. In 2001, Lee moved to the United States to further her studies in music. She enrolled at the Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied under the tutelage of Professor Yoheved Kaplinsky. During her time at Juilliard, Lee won numerous awards, including the Gina Bachauer Piano Scholarship, the Arthur Rubinstein Prize, and the William Petschek Piano Scholarship.
