Nancy Allen Lundy is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born in 1951 in New York City, Nancy grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a jazz pianist, and her mother was a singer. Nancy started playing the harp at the age of nine and quickly fell in love with the instrument. Nancy's talent for the harp was evident from an early age, and she began studying with some of the best harpists in the world. She attended the Juilliard School of Music in New York City, where she studied with Marcel Grandjany, one of the most influential harpists of the 20th century. Nancy also studied with Lily Laskine, a French harpist who was known for her virtuosity and musicality. After completing her studies at Juilliard, Nancy began her professional career as a harpist. She quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented harpists of her generation, and she was soon in demand as a soloist and chamber musician.
