Mireille Gleizes was born on May 12, 1985, in Marseille, France. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Mireille showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. As a child, Mireille was enrolled in the Marseille Conservatory, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Jean-Marc Luisada. Under his guidance, Mireille quickly developed her skills and began to gain recognition for her talent. In 2001, at the age of 16, Mireille won first prize in the prestigious International Piano Competition in Paris. Her interpretation of the piece was praised for its technical precision and emotional depth, and it cemented her reputation as one of the world's leading pianists. In addition to her performances, Mireille has also received numerous awards and accolades throughout her career. In 2008, she was awarded the prestigious Prix de la Fondation Simone et Cino Del Duca, which recognizes outstanding achievement in the arts and sciences. She has also been named a Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French government, and in 2015, she was awarded the Victoire de la Musique Classique, one of the most prestigious awards in the classical music world.
