One of Burleigh's most notable works is his Piano Concerto No. 1, which he composed in 1972. The piece was well-received by critics and audiences alike and helped establish Burleigh as a prominent composer. Burleigh's other notable works include his Symphony No. 1, which he composed in 1975, and his Piano Sonata No. 2, which he composed in 1980.
