Duo Contemporain is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2008 by two Dutch musicians, pianist Saskia Lankhoorn and percussionist Joey Marijs. The duo specializes in contemporary classical music and has gained recognition for their innovative and dynamic performances. Saskia Lankhoorn is a highly acclaimed pianist who has performed extensively throughout Europe and the United States. Since then, Duo Contemporain has performed at many major festivals and venues throughout Europe and the United States. They have collaborated with numerous composers and have premiered many new works for piano and percussion.
