She was born into a family of musicians, with her father being a renowned pianist and her mother a violinist. From a young age, Anna was exposed to classical music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Anna's talent was quickly recognized, and she began performing in public at the age of six. She won her first competition at the age of eight and went on to win numerous awards throughout her childhood and teenage years. At the age of 16, Anna was accepted into the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned violinist and pedagogue, Vilmos Szabadi. During her time at the academy, Anna continued to excel, winning several competitions and performing in prestigious venues throughout Europe. In 2005, she was awarded the Junior Prima Prize, one of the most prestigious awards for young musicians in Hungary. After completing her studies at the academy, Anna continued to pursue her career as a soloist and chamber musician. She has performed with numerous orchestras, including the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, and the Prague Philharmonia. She has also collaborated with many renowned conductors, including Zoltán Kocsis, Iván Fischer, and Péter Eötvös. Anna's performances have taken her to some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Musikverein in Vienna. She has also performed at many international music festivals, including the Salzburg Festival, the Lucerne Festival, and the Edinburgh International Festival. In addition to her solo career, Anna is also an accomplished chamber musician. She has performed with many renowned ensembles, including the Keller Quartet, the Kodály Quartet, and the Takács Quartet. She is also a founding member of the Rosza Quartet, which has received critical acclaim for their performances and recordings. Anna's recordings have received widespread critical acclaim, with many of them receiving awards and nominations. Her recording of Bartók's Violin Concerto No. 2 with the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra was awarded the Grand Prix du Disque by the Hungarian Recording Academy in 2010. Her recording of Brahms' Violin Sonatas with pianist Péter Nagy was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2012. Anna is also a dedicated teacher and has taught at several music schools and universities throughout Europe. She is currently a professor of violin at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where she continues to inspire and mentor young musicians. Throughout her career, Anna has received numerous awards and honors for her contributions to classical music. In 2014, she was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary, one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a Hungarian citizen. In 2018, she was awarded the Bartók-Pásztory Prize, which recognizes outstanding contributions to Hungarian music.
