Alexei Bogorad was born on May 15, 1985, in Moscow, Russia. He was born into a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Alexei showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Alexei's parents recognized his talent and enrolled him in the Central Music School in Moscow, where he received his formal training in piano. He was a prodigious student and quickly rose through the ranks, winning several competitions and awards. In 2003, Alexei was accepted into the Moscow Conservatory, one of the most prestigious music schools in Russia. He studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Sergei Dorensky.
