Das Quantz Collegium is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2005 in Berlin, Germany. The ensemble is named after Johann Joachim Quantz, a German flutist, composer, and flute maker who lived in the 18th century. The ensemble is known for its performances of Baroque and Classical music, particularly the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The founding members of Das Quantz Collegium were all students at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, a prestigious music conservatory in Berlin.
