He went on to perform with some of the world's most prestigious orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. He was particularly renowned for his interpretations of Beethoven's piano sonatas, which he performed with great passion and intensity.
