The Clebanoff Strings was a classical music ensemble that was founded in the mid-20th century. The group was known for its unique sound and its ability to blend classical music with popular music. The ensemble was led by its founder, Herman Clebanoff, and included a number of talented musicians who helped to create the group's signature sound. Herman Clebanoff was born in Chicago in 1917. The album was a commercial success and helped to establish the group as one of the leading ensembles of its time. Over the next few years, the Clebanoff Strings continued to perform and record music. The group released a number of albums, including "Music from My Fair Lady" and "The Sound of Music." The group also performed at a number of high-profile events, including the inauguration of President John F. Kennedy in 1961. In 1963, the Clebanoff Strings won a Grammy Award for their album "Great Songs of the Continent." The album featured a mix of classical and popular music from around the world and showcased the group's ability to blend different styles of music. Despite their success, the Clebanoff Strings disbanded in the late 1960s. Herman Clebanoff continued to work as a studio musician and arranger until his death in 2004. The other members of the group also continued to work in the music industry, performing with a number of other ensembles and orchestras. Today, the Clebanoff Strings are remembered as one of the most innovative and influential classical music ensembles of their time.
