Boaz Senator is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on December 12, 1985, in Tel Aviv, Israel, Boaz Senator showed an early interest in music. He began playing the piano at the age of six and quickly developed a passion for classical music. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion. Boaz Senator's musical journey began at the age of nine when he was accepted into the prestigious Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts in Givatayim, Israel. He studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Prof. Arie Vardi. During his time at the school, Boaz Senator won numerous awards and competitions, including the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship, the Clairmont Prize, and the Young Artist Competition. After completing his studies at Thelma Yellin, Boaz Senator continued his musical education at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University. He studied under the guidance of Prof. Emanuel Krasovsky and Prof. Tomer Lev, two of Israel's most respected pianists. During his time at the university, Boaz Senator won the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music Concerto Competition and performed with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2008, Boaz Senator moved to the United States to further his musical education. He enrolled at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Wha Kyung Byun. During his time at the conservatory, Boaz Senator won numerous awards and competitions, including the NEC Concerto Competition, the NEC Chamber Music Competition, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. Boaz Senator's talent and hard work paid off when he was awarded the prestigious Arthur W. Foote Prize in Music from the Harvard Musical Association in 2011. The prize is awarded annually to a young musician who shows exceptional promise in the field of music. Boaz Senator was the first pianist to win the prize in over a decade. Boaz Senator's career as a concert pianist has taken him all over the world. He has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. He has also performed with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. One of Boaz Senator's most memorable performances was his debut at Carnegie Hall in 2013. He performed a solo recital that included works by Beethoven, Schumann, and Chopin. The performance was met with critical acclaim, and Boaz Senator was praised for his technical skill and emotional depth. In addition to his career as a concert pianist, Boaz Senator is also a dedicated teacher. He has taught at the New England Conservatory of Music and the Longy School of Music in Boston. He is currently a faculty member at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University, where he teaches piano and chamber music.
