Riccardo Rognoni was an Italian composer and musician who lived during the Renaissance period. He was born in Milan in 1550 and was the son of a musician. Another notable work by Riccardo is his collection of lute music called "Selva di varie compositioni," which was published in 1592. The collection includes a variety of pieces, including dances, fantasias, and variations on popular songs.
