By the age of ten, Marie had already won several local piano competitions and was performing in public regularly. In 1997, Marie was accepted into the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Pierre-Laurent Aimard. During her time at the conservatory, Marie honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. She also began to explore other genres of music, including jazz and contemporary music. After graduating from the conservatory in 2005, Marie began performing professionally. Her first major performance was at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, where she performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the Orchestre National de France. The performance was a huge success, and Marie received critical acclaim for her virtuosic playing. Over the next few years, Marie continued to perform in major concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. She also began recording her performances, and her recordings of works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Debussy received widespread praise.
