Yuniet Lombida Prieto is a Cuban classical music composer who was born on December 28, 1985, in the city of Holguin, Cuba. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a guitarist and his mother a singer. From a young age, Lombida Prieto showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Lombida Prieto's musical education began at the Provincial School of Music in Holguin, where he studied piano, music theory, and composition. He later went on to study at the Higher Institute of Art in Havana, where he received a degree in composition.
