Jinjoo Cho is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of violin performance. Born in Seoul, South Korea, on October 22, 1986, Cho began playing the violin at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent and enrolled her in the Yewon School, a prestigious music school in Seoul, where she received her early training. At the age of 13, Cho moved to the United States to study at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. There, she studied under the tutelage of Jaime Laredo and Ida Kavafian, two of the most respected violinists in the world. Cho quickly established herself as a prodigious talent, winning numerous awards and accolades for her performances. One of Cho's early highlights came in 2006, when she won the Gold Medal at the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis. This prestigious competition is one of the most respected in the world, and Cho's victory cemented her status as one of the most promising young violinists of her generation. She has performed with some of the most respected orchestras in the world, including the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, and the San Francisco Symphony.
