Leonid Roschko was born on May 15, 1985, in Kiev, Ukraine. He was born into a family of musicians, and his parents were both professional musicians. His father was a violinist, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Leonid showed a great interest in music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. At the age of six, Leonid began taking piano lessons with his mother. He quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument, and his parents decided to enroll him in a music school. Leonid attended the Kiev Special Music School, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Valery Kozlov. In 2006, Leonid moved to the United States to further his studies. He enrolled at the Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Emanuel Ax. During his time at Juilliard, Leonid continued to win awards and accolades, including first prize at the International Piano Competition in New York in 2008. After completing his studies at Juilliard, Leonid began performing professionally. He has performed with numerous orchestras around the world, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has also performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York City and the Royal Albert Hall in London. Leonid's performances have been praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth.
