Arthur Sauer was a German-American composer and pianist who was born on August 28, 1874, in Berlin, Germany. He was the son of a prominent physician, Dr. Max Sauer, and his wife, Bertha. Arthur showed an early interest in music and began taking piano lessons at the age of six. He was a prodigious talent and quickly became known for his exceptional musical abilities.
