The founding members of Orchestra Pro Arte Bassano included violinist and conductor Giuseppe Lanzetta, cellist Giuseppe Barutti, and pianist and composer Giuseppe Martucci. The ensemble quickly gained a reputation for its high-quality performances and innovative programming, which included both classical masterpieces and lesser-known works. Over the years, Orchestra Pro Arte Bassano has grown to include more than 50 musicians, including some of the most talented instrumentalists in Italy. The ensemble is known for its versatility and ability to perform a wide range of musical styles, from Baroque to contemporary. One of the highlights of Orchestra Pro Arte Bassano's early years was its performance at the prestigious Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Italy, in 1986.
