Annelien Van Wauwe is a Belgian clarinetist who has gained international recognition for her exceptional musical talent. Born on May 23, 1986, in Brussels, Belgium, Van Wauwe grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a clarinetist, and her mother was a pianist. From a young age, Van Wauwe showed a keen interest in music and began playing the clarinet at the age of six. Van Wauwe's musical education began at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where she studied with Eddy Vanoosthuyse. She later continued her studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in Germany, where she studied with Ralph Manno. During her time in Germany, Van Wauwe won several awards, including the first prize at the International Clarinet Competition in Ghent, Belgium, and the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Scholarship.
