The piece was inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, and Bertolozzi used the tower as a giant musical instrument, recording the sounds of its metal surfaces and using them to create a unique and innovative musical composition. "Tower Music" was performed live at the base of the Eiffel Tower in 2013, and the performance was broadcast on French television. Another notable work by Bertolozzi is "Bronze Music," a composition for percussion that he created in 2015. This piece was inspired by the bronze sculptures of the Hudson Valley, and Bertolozzi used the sculptures as musical instruments, recording the sounds of their surfaces and using them to create a musical composition. "Bronze Music" was performed live at the Storm King Art Center in New York in 2015, and the performance was well-received by both critics and audiences. In addition to his work as a composer, Bertolozzi is also an author and visual artist. He has written several books on music and art, including "The Art of Drumming" and "The Bronze Collection: Sculpture and Sound." He has also created a series of visual art pieces that incorporate sound and music, including "Bridge Music Visuals," which features images of bridges accompanied by Bertolozzi's music.
