The Feininger Trio is a classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with their exceptional performances for over two decades. The trio was founded in 1999 by three talented musicians, pianist Markus Becker, violinist Antje Weithaas, and cellist Tanja Tetzlaff. The ensemble has since become one of the most sought-after chamber music groups in the world, known for their impeccable technique, musicality, and passion. Markus Becker, the pianist of the Feininger Trio, was born in 1963 in Hannover, Germany. He began playing the piano at the age of six and went on to study at the Hannover University of Music, Drama, and Media. Becker has won numerous awards throughout his career, including the prestigious German Music Competition and the International ARD Music Competition. He has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. Antje Weithaas, the violinist of the Feininger Trio, was born in 1966 in Berlin, Germany. She began playing the violin at the age of four and went on to study at the Hannover University of Music, Drama, and Media. Weithaas has won numerous awards throughout her career, including the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis and the Bach Competition in Leipzig. She has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. Tanja Tetzlaff, the cellist of the Feininger Trio, was born in 1973 in Hamburg, Germany. She began playing the cello at the age of six and went on to study at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater. Tetzlaff has won numerous awards throughout her career, including the German Music Competition and the International ARD Music Competition. She has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. The Feininger Trio's repertoire includes works by some of the greatest composers in classical music, including Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, and Shostakovich. The ensemble is known for their exceptional interpretations of these works, bringing a fresh and unique perspective to each performance. One of the highlights of the Feininger Trio's career was their performance at the 2004 Salzburg Festival. The trio performed Beethoven's "Triple Concerto" with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt.
