Evelina Arabadjieva is a Bulgarian classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a violinist and conductor. Born on May 22, 1985, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Evelina showed an early interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of five. Her parents, both musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Evelina's early musical education was at the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia, where she studied with Professor Petar Minev. She continued her studies at the National Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance. She then went on to study at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria, where she earned a Master's degree in Violin Performance and a second Master's degree in Conducting. Evelina's talent as a violinist was recognized early on, and she won numerous awards and competitions throughout her career. In 2003, she won first prize at the National Competition for Young Musicians in Bulgaria, and in 2004, she won first prize at the International Competition for Young Musicians "Citta di Barletta" in Italy. In 2005, she won first prize at the International Competition for Young Musicians "Citta di Stresa" in Italy, and in 2006, she won first prize at the International Competition for Young Musicians "Citta di Padova" in Italy. Evelina's success as a violinist led to numerous performances around the world. She has performed as a soloist with many orchestras, including the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London. She has also performed in many prestigious venues, including the Musikverein in Vienna, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and Carnegie Hall in New York. In addition to her success as a violinist, Evelina has also made a name for herself as a conductor. She has conducted many orchestras, including the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, and the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. In 2010, she was appointed as the Principal Conductor of the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, becoming the first woman to hold this position in the orchestra's history. Evelina's success as a conductor has also led to numerous performances around the world. She has conducted many prestigious orchestras, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also conducted in many prestigious venues, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, and the Suntory Hall in Tokyo. Evelina's talent and success have been recognized with numerous awards and honors. In 2007, she was awarded the "Musician of the Year" award by the Bulgarian National Radio. In 2010, she was awarded the "Crystal Lyre" award by the Union of Bulgarian Musicians and Dancers. In 2012, she was awarded the "Golden Lyre" award by the Bulgarian National Radio. Evelina's success as a musician has not been limited to her performances and awards. She is also a dedicated teacher and has taught at many prestigious institutions, including the National Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia and the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
