Caroline Buckman is a renowned cellist and composer in the classical music industry. She was born on August 22, 1987, in Los Angeles, California, to a family of musicians. Her father, David Buckman, was a professional cellist, and her mother, Sarah Buckman, was a pianist. Caroline grew up in a musical environment and started playing the cello at the age of four. Caroline's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She attended the Colburn School of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, where she studied under the guidance of renowned cellist Ronald Leonard. Caroline's exceptional talent and dedication to music earned her a full scholarship to attend the Juilliard School in New York City. At Juilliard, Caroline studied with cellist Joel Krosnick and composer Robert Beaser. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in 2009 and continued her studies at the Yale School of Music, where she earned a Master of Music degree in 2011. Caroline's career as a cellist took off after she won the prestigious Concert Artists Guild Competition in 2012. The competition is known for discovering and promoting young musicians who show exceptional talent and promise.
