Janice Kapp Perry is a renowned composer of religious and classical music. She was born on December 12, 1938, in Ogden, Utah, to a musical family. Her father was a professional musician, and her mother was a singer and pianist. Perry grew up in a home filled with music, and she began playing the piano at the age of four. In addition to her work for the LDS Church, Perry has also composed classical music. She has written several operas, including "The Garden," which tells the story of Adam and Eve, and "The Savior of the World," which tells the story of the life of Jesus Christ. She has also written several choral works, including "I Believe in Christ," which has been performed by choirs around the world. Perry's music is known for its uplifting and inspiring messages.
