David Pohle was a German composer and musician who lived during the Baroque period. He was born in the year 1624 in the town of Treuenbrietzen, which is located in the state of Brandenburg. Pohle was born into a family of musicians, and his father was a well-known organist and composer in the region. It is believed that Pohle received his early musical training from his father, and he showed a great deal of talent from a young age. Pohle's musical career began in earnest when he was appointed as the court trumpeter for the Duke of Saxe-Weissenfels in 1644.
