Charles Alan Beeler was an American composer of classical music, born on August 22, 1932, in Kansas City, Missouri. He grew up in a musical family, with his father being a violinist and his mother a pianist. Beeler began playing the piano at a young age and showed a natural talent for music. He went on to study music at the University of Missouri and later at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Beeler's early compositions were influenced by the works of composers such as Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven. He was also inspired by the music of contemporary composers such as Aaron Copland and Igor Stravinsky. Beeler's compositions were characterized by their use of traditional forms and structures, combined with modern harmonies and rhythms.
