David Parsons is a renowned American dancer and choreographer who has made a significant contribution to the world of classical music. He was born on June 29, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. Parsons began his dance training at the age of seven and later studied at the Juilliard School in New York City. Parsons started his professional career as a dancer with the Paul Taylor Dance Company in 1971. He quickly rose to prominence and became one of the company's principal dancers. During his time with the Paul Taylor Dance Company, Parsons performed in numerous works, including "Esplanade," "Aureole," and "Cloven Kingdom."
