Evelina Dobraceva is a Latvian-born soprano who has established herself as one of the leading classical music artists of her generation. Born on August 1, 1976, in Riga, Latvia, Dobraceva showed an early interest in music and began singing in choirs at a young age. She later studied at the Latvian Academy of Music and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in Germany. Dobraceva's career began to take off in the early 2000s, when she won several prestigious singing competitions, including the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Vienna and the International Singing Competition Neue Stimmen in Germany. These victories led to engagements with some of the world's leading opera companies, including the Royal Opera House in London, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. One of Dobraceva's most notable performances came in 2008, when she made her debut at the Royal Opera House as Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni.
