From a young age, Jack showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. As a child, Jack was exposed to a wide range of classical music, and he quickly developed a love for the works of composers such as Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart. He began taking formal piano lessons at the age of six and quickly progressed, impressing his teachers with his natural ability and dedication to his craft. He has performed with the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, and many others. One of the highlights of Jack's career was his performance at the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway. He was invited to perform alongside other world-renowned musicians, including Sting, Herbie Hancock, and Elvis Costello, in honor of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate that year, Liu Xiaobo. In addition to his performances as a soloist, Jack is also an accomplished chamber musician, having performed with some of the world's leading string quartets and other ensembles. He has collaborated with the Emerson String Quartet, the Tokyo String Quartet, and the Guarneri Quartet, among others. Throughout his career, Jack has received numerous awards and accolades for his performances and recordings. He has been awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, the Gilmore Young Artist Award, and the Arthur Rubinstein Prize, among others. In addition to his performing career, Jack is also a dedicated teacher and mentor to young musicians. He has taught at the Juilliard School, the Manhattan School of Music, and the New England Conservatory, among others.
