Alexandre Rabinovich is a renowned classical pianist who has captivated audiences around the world with his virtuosic performances and deep musicality. Born in Moscow, Russia in 1975, Rabinovich showed an early aptitude for music and began studying piano at the age of five. His parents, both professional musicians, recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. Rabinovich's early training was rigorous and demanding, but he thrived under the guidance of his teachers. He quickly developed a reputation as a prodigy, winning numerous competitions and performing in prestigious venues throughout Russia. By the age of 12, he had already made his debut with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, playing Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 to critical acclaim. In 1991, Rabinovich and his family emigrated from Russia to Israel, where he continued his studies at the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem. He quickly established himself as one of the most promising young pianists in the country, winning the prestigious Aviv Competition in 1994 and the Young Concert Artists International Auditions in New York in 1995. These victories launched Rabinovich's international career, and he soon began performing in major concert halls around the world. He has since appeared with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with some of the most distinguished conductors of our time, including Zubin Mehta, Daniel Barenboim, and Valery Gergiev. Rabinovich's repertoire is vast and varied, encompassing works by composers from Bach to Bartok. He is particularly renowned for his interpretations of the music of Chopin, whose works he has recorded extensively. His recordings have received critical acclaim and numerous awards, including the Diapason d'Or and the Echo Klassik Award. In addition to his performing career, Rabinovich is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. He has taught masterclasses at some of the world's leading music schools, including the Juilliard School in New York and the Royal Academy of Music in London. He is also the founder and artistic director of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, which takes place every three years in Tel Aviv. Despite his many accomplishments, Rabinovich remains humble and dedicated to his craft. He continues to practice for hours every day, constantly striving to improve his technique and deepen his understanding of the music he plays. His passion for music is infectious, and his performances are always marked by a sense of joy and spontaneity. In recognition of his contributions to the world of classical music, Rabinovich has received numerous awards and honors. In 2010, he was awarded the prestigious Israel Prize for Music, the country's highest cultural honor. He has also been named a UNESCO Artist for Peace and a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government. Despite his many accolades, Rabinovich remains focused on his art and committed to sharing his love of music with audiences around the world. He continues to perform regularly, both as a soloist and in collaboration with other musicians, and his recordings continue to inspire and delight listeners of all ages.
