Barbara Hornung is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on May 12, 1975, in Vienna, Austria, Hornung showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Hornung's musical education began at the Vienna Conservatory, where she studied piano under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Paul Badura-Skoda. She later went on to study at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, where she received her diploma in piano performance. Throughout her career, Hornung has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Musikverein in Vienna, the Berlin Philharmonic, and Carnegie Hall in New York. She has also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra. One of Hornung's most notable performances was her debut at the Salzburg Festival in 2001, where she performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 with the Vienna Philharmonic.
