Patrocinio Rico was a renowned classical music artist who was born on January 1, 1923, in Madrid, Spain. She was the daughter of a famous Spanish composer, Joaquín Rico, who was known for his zarzuela compositions. Patrocinio grew up in a musical family and started playing the piano at a young age. Her father recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Patrocinio studied at the Madrid Royal Conservatory of Music, where she honed her skills in piano performance and composition.
