He was born into a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Tachmanov was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Tachmanov's talent was quickly recognized, and he began performing in public at the age of six. He won his first competition at the age of eight and went on to win numerous awards throughout his childhood and teenage years. In 2003, Tachmanov was accepted into the Moscow Conservatory, one of the most prestigious music schools in the world. He studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Sergei Dorensky. During his time at the conservatory, Tachmanov won several competitions, including the International Piano Competition in Rome and the International Piano Competition in Paris. After graduating from the Moscow Conservatory in 2008, Tachmanov began performing extensively throughout Russia and Europe. He quickly gained a reputation as a virtuoso pianist, known for his technical skill and emotional depth. In 2010, Tachmanov made his debut in the United States, performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City. The performance was a huge success, and Tachmanov was praised for his interpretation of works by Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. Over the years, Tachmanov has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with many renowned conductors, including Valery Gergiev, Daniel Barenboim, and Zubin Mehta.
