Andrew A. Cleaver was born on May 15, 1985, in London, England. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Cleaver showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Cleaver's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed a passion for classical music. By the age of ten, Cleaver had already won several local piano competitions and was considered a prodigy. In 1996, Cleaver was accepted into the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London.
