Milos Raickovich was a Serbian-American composer who was born on August 22, 1956, in Belgrade, Serbia. He was the son of a prominent Serbian composer, Vojislav Raickovich, who was a professor of composition at the Belgrade Music Academy. Milos grew up in a musical family and began playing the piano at the age of six. He showed an early interest in composition and began writing his own music at the age of 12.
