From a young age, Benvenuti showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Benvenuti's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed his skills. By the age of ten, he had already won several local competitions and was performing in public. In 1997, Benvenuti was accepted into the prestigious Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Florence, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Franco Scala. During his time at the conservatory, Benvenuti honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. In 2003, Benvenuti graduated from the conservatory with top honors and was awarded a scholarship to study at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. There, he studied under the tutelage of legendary pianist and conductor, Antonio Pappano. During his time in Rome, Benvenuti had the opportunity to perform with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra and the Berlin Philharmonic. He also won several international competitions, including the prestigious Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2005. Benvenuti's career continued to flourish, and he soon became one of the most sought-after pianists in the world. He performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Musikverein in Vienna. In addition to his solo performances, Benvenuti also collaborated with some of the world's leading musicians, including violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter and cellist Yo-Yo Ma. He also recorded several critically acclaimed albums, including a collection of Beethoven's piano sonatas and a recording of Chopin's complete works for piano. Throughout his career, Benvenuti received numerous awards and accolades for his contributions to classical music. In 2010, he was awarded the prestigious International Classical Music Award for his recording of Beethoven's piano sonatas. He was also awarded the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2015 for his contributions to Italian culture. Despite his success, Benvenuti remained humble and dedicated to his craft.
