Kyzivat's parents recognized his talent and enrolled him in the Prague Conservatory, where he studied under the guidance of some of the most prominent music teachers of the time. He excelled in his studies and graduated with honors. After completing his studies, Kyzivat began performing in various concerts and recitals throughout Europe. In 1955, Kyzivat won the prestigious International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. This was a significant achievement for Kyzivat, as the competition was one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world. His performance was highly praised by the judges, who noted his exceptional technique and musicality. Following his success at the Chopin Piano Competition, Kyzivat began performing in concerts and recitals all over the world. He was invited to perform with some of the most renowned orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic.
