Inbal Segev is a renowned cellist who has made a name for herself in the world of classical music. Born in Israel in 1976, Segev began playing the cello at the age of five. Her parents were both musicians, and they encouraged her to pursue her passion for music from a young age. Segev's talent was evident from the beginning, and she quickly became a prodigy in her home country. She won numerous competitions and awards as a child, and by the time she was a teenager, she was already performing with some of the most prestigious orchestras in Israel. In 1995, Segev moved to the United States to study at the Juilliard School in New York City. She has taught master classes at universities and conservatories around the world, and she has worked with young musicians through programs such as the Perlman Music Program and the Yellow Barn Music Festival. She has commissioned and premiered works by some of the most exciting composers of our time, including Avner Dorman, Anna Clyne, and Timo Andres.
