Born on May 22, 1987, in Bratislava, Slovakia, Paulechava showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. She quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began studying with renowned piano teachers in Slovakia and abroad. Paulechava's musical education began at the Bratislava Conservatory, where she studied under the guidance of Professor Peter Toperczer. She later continued her studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she received her Master's degree in piano performance. During her time in Prague, Paulechava had the opportunity to work with some of the most distinguished piano teachers in Europe, including Ivan Klansky, Jan Jiracek von Arnim, and Pavel Gililov. Paulechava's talent and dedication to her craft quickly became apparent, and she began to receive invitations to perform at major music festivals and concert halls around the world. In 2008, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Rome, Italy, which helped to launch her career as a soloist. Since then, she has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe, Asia, and the United States, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Carnegie Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall. One of Paulechava's most notable performances was her debut at the Berlin Philharmonic in 2012, where she performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle. The performance was widely praised by critics and established Paulechava as one of the most promising young pianists of her generation. In addition to her solo performances, Paulechava is also an accomplished chamber musician and has collaborated with some of the most renowned musicians in the world, including violinist Maxim Vengerov and cellist Mischa Maisky. She is also a dedicated teacher and has given masterclasses at some of the most prestigious music schools in Europe and Asia.
