Bart Samolis is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact on the world of music. Born in Athens, Greece, in 1975, Samolis showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Samolis received his formal music education at the Athens Conservatory, where he studied piano performance under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue, Maria João Pires. During his time at the conservatory, Samolis developed a deep appreciation for classical music and began to explore the works of great composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, and Chopin. After completing his studies at the Athens Conservatory, Samolis continued his education at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and pedagogue, Christopher Elton. It was during his time at the Royal Academy of Music that Samolis began to establish himself as a rising star in the world of classical music. Samolis made his debut performance at the Wigmore Hall in London in 1998, where he received critical acclaim for his interpretation of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op. 27, No. 2, also known as the "Moonlight Sonata." This performance marked the beginning of Samolis's career as a solo pianist, and he quickly gained a reputation for his technical proficiency and emotional depth. Over the years, Samolis has performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic.
