In 1998, Szabo won first prize at the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition in Salt Lake City, Utah. This was a significant achievement, as the competition is one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world. After graduating from the Juilliard School in 2000, Szabo embarked on a successful career as a classical music artist. He has performed at some of the most renowned concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York City, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic.
