Allyson McHardy is a Canadian mezzo-soprano who has established herself as one of the leading classical music artists of her generation. Born in 1976 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, McHardy grew up in a musical family and began singing at a young age. She studied voice at the University of Manitoba and later at the University of Toronto, where she earned a Master of Music degree.
