Polsini's musical journey began when he enrolled at the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in Naples. He studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and composer, Aldo Ciccolini. After completing his studies at the Conservatory, Polsini began performing in various concerts and recitals across Italy. His performances were well-received, and he soon gained a reputation as a talented pianist. In 1975, he won the prestigious Busoni International Piano Competition, which further cemented his position as a rising star in the world of classical music. Polsini's career continued to flourish, and he began performing in major concert halls across Europe and the United States. He was known for his technical proficiency and his ability to bring out the emotional depth of the music he played.
