Throughout his career, Schipizky composed a wide range of works, including solo piano pieces, chamber music, and orchestral works. His music was often characterized by its lyrical melodies, intricate harmonies, and rhythmic complexity. One of Schipizky's most well-known works is his Piano Concerto, which was composed in 1978. The concerto is a virtuosic showcase for the soloist, with its fast-paced runs and intricate passagework. The work also features lush orchestration and a memorable second movement, which is marked by its hauntingly beautiful melody.
