Matilda Lloyd was born on May 15, 1992, in London, England. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Matilda showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Matilda's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking lessons with renowned violin teachers and quickly gained a reputation as a prodigy. At the age of 10, Matilda made her debut performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London, playing the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the London Symphony Orchestra. From that moment on, Matilda's career took off. She began performing regularly at major concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Sydney Opera House. Her performances were praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth, and she quickly became one of the most sought-after violinists of her generation. In addition to her solo performances, Matilda also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras and conductors. She performed with the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Berlin Philharmonic, among others. She also worked with conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Barenboim, and Gustavo Dudamel. Throughout her career, Matilda received numerous awards and accolades for her performances. She won the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition at the age of 16, becoming the youngest winner in the competition's history.
