From a young age, Matilda showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Matilda's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking lessons with renowned violin teachers and quickly gained a reputation as a prodigy. At the age of 10, Matilda made her debut performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London, playing the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the London Symphony Orchestra. From that moment on, Matilda's career took off. She began performing regularly at major concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Sydney Opera House.
