Beth Vanderborgh is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1985, in New York City, Beth showed an early interest in music and began playing the cello at the age of six. After graduating from Curtis in 2007, Beth began her professional career as a cellist. One of Beth's most memorable performances was her solo debut with the New York Philharmonic in 2009. She performed Dvorak's Cello Concerto to critical acclaim, and her performance was described as "mesmerizing" and "spellbinding." The New York Times praised her "rich, warm tone" and her "impeccable technique." In addition to her performances with orchestras, Beth is also an accomplished chamber musician. She has performed with some of the world's most renowned chamber ensembles, including the Emerson String Quartet and the Guarneri Quartet.
