Karen Strittmatter Galvin is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. She was the recipient of the prestigious Presser Foundation Scholarship, which is awarded to the most outstanding music students in the United States. After completing her undergraduate studies, Karen continued her musical education at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. She earned her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Literature in 1987. During her time at Eastman, Karen studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher Barry Snyder. Karen's talent and hard work continued to be recognized, and she received several awards and honors during her time at Eastman. She was the recipient of the prestigious Performer's Certificate, which is awarded to the most outstanding performers at the school. Karen was also awarded the coveted Eastman School of Music Alumni Association Prize for Excellence in Performance. After completing her studies at Eastman, Karen embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist.
