Stephanie Ho is a renowned classical pianist who has captivated audiences around the world with her virtuosic performances and deep musicality. Born in Taiwan, Ho began playing the piano at the age of four and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. Her parents recognized her potential and enrolled her in the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City when she was just 12 years old. At Juilliard, Ho studied with some of the most renowned piano teachers in the world, including Yoheved Kaplinsky and Jerome Lowenthal. She also had the opportunity to perform in some of the school's most prestigious venues, including Alice Tully Hall and the Juilliard Theater. During her time at Juilliard, Ho won numerous awards and competitions, including the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition and the New York International Piano Competition. After graduating from Juilliard, Ho continued her studies at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore, where she earned a Master of Music degree. She then went on to earn a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied with Anton Nel. Throughout her career, Ho has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Houston Symphony, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and the National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan. She has also given recitals at some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Royal Festival Hall in London. One of the highlights of Ho's career was her performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 with the Houston Symphony in 2014. The performance was praised by critics for its "poise, elegance, and sensitivity," and Ho was hailed as a rising star in the classical music world. In addition to her performing career, Ho is also a dedicated teacher and mentor.
