He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Michel was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Michel's talent was evident from a young age, and he quickly became a prodigy in the classical music world. He began performing in public at the age of six and was soon invited to perform at prestigious venues such as the Paris Opera and the Royal Albert Hall in London. As Michel grew older, he continued to hone his skills as a pianist and began to explore other areas of classical music. He studied composition and conducting at the Paris Conservatory and went on to earn a degree in music from the Juilliard School in New York City. Throughout his career, Michel has performed with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the New York Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra. He has also collaborated with many of the world's leading conductors, including Daniel Barenboim, Simon Rattle, and Gustavo Dudamel. One of Michel's most notable performances was his debut at Carnegie Hall in 2008. He performed a program of works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt to critical acclaim, with The New York Times praising his "virtuosic technique and sensitive musicality." Michel has also been the recipient of numerous awards and honors throughout his career. In 2010, he was awarded the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, which recognizes outstanding young musicians who show great potential for a major career in classical music. He has also been awarded the Prix de Rome and the Leonard Bernstein Fellowship. In addition to his work as a pianist, Michel is also an accomplished composer.
